Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Cypress

We are a small but mighty group of individuals dedicated to serving the children, families, and visitors in Cypress and surrounding communities. Our club started in 1950 serving the needs of the community. Although we are well known for our delicious pancake breakfasts, we also sponsor five youth leadership groups; offer scholarships to high school students; provide books to children, and extensively involved with a speech and debate tournament for high school students. Our members take pride in serving the community as well as the Kiwanis California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Kiwanis International.

Kiwanis Recipe for Success

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress is partnering with the Boys and Girls Club in launching a new multi-faceted teen life skills training program that is centering around culinary skills and delights.

Our Projects

Service Leadership Programs (SLP)

The Service Leadership Programs (SLP) are character-building programs designed to inspire students, as well as adults who live with disabilities, to become engaged members of their communities who work to solve

problems and help others through service.  Our club sponsors five Key and Circle K clubs in the area.

Speech and Debate Tournament

The Speech and Debate Tournament is an opportunity for middle- and high- school students to fine-tune their public speaking and debate skills by competing with other students in the area.

We also support local schools with books that are collected and distributed throughout the year.

Pancake Breakfasts

Our club is known for our famous pancake breakfasts.

We have two large rotating grills that can handle dozens of pancakes at a time. The proceeds support the local agency or event.

Are you interested in joining like-minded individuals serving those in need at the local level and across the globe? Kiwanis bring Individuals from all walk of life together to network, serve the community, and have fun along the way. Our club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 7 PM to 8 PM at the Boys and Girls Club of Cypress.
