Kiwanis Club of Cypress

Kiwanis Club of Cypress – Chartered in 1950

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress is part of worldwide organization of likeminded individuals dedicated to making lives of children and communities better.

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress was born in 1950 (6 years prior to the city being incorporated as Diary City).  Our founding fathers saw a need to help the children of the area through service.  Over the years we have been involved and sponsored many programs that improved the community, including being one of founders of the Cypress Community Festival.

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress has been known for our pancake breakfast and our hot dogs and hamburgers that we serve at community events. But we are so much more than just great cooks!!!  The Kiwanis Club of Cypress currently sponsors 3 high school service organizations (Key Clubs), provide books to encourage children to read in conjunction with Summer Harvest, sponsors a bike safety program and safety equipment giveaway in conjunction with the Cypress Police open house just to name a few.    We are currently looking at start a program for high school students who are not going to college but may want a career in the trades.

The Kiwanis Club of Cypress will continue to evolve to better serve the community of Cypress!!
