General Information:

1. We ask that your organization contact us at least 6 weeks in advance of your event to
better assure that we can schedule it. Board decisions are made on the first Tuesday of each month and
you are encouraged to make your request in person. We meet at the Boys & Girls Club which is
at 10161 Moody Street with a start time of 6:30 p.m. Contact us at us at [email protected] to address the board.

Once approved:

2. Club members will need to have access to the kitchen (power & water) no later than two (2) hours prior to the
start of the event. Access to a freezer/refrigerator to keep the orange juice & sausage cold is desirable but a requirement.

3. The cost? The Kiwanis Club of Cypress is a non-profit organization. In order to continue our work, a donation of $100 is suggested, plus you will be billed $3.00 per breakfast to cover the cost of supplies. Fees for a hot dog
and hamburger event will be determined at the time of the request. Cost of supplies (meat, buns, etc.) will determine the unit fee.

4. You may charge any price you want for your ticket sales. Most event prices that Kiwanis has served have been set at $7 – $10 each. Breakfast includes orange juice, coffee, 2 sausage links and all you can eat
pancakes.
A hotdog/hamburger event includes hotdog/hamburger, buns, and condiments. Additional fees for water/soda and chips will be accessed.

We request that as part of your advertising, you publicize Kiwanis as the provider of the breakfast or BBQ.

5. The availability of Kiwanis, Key Club, or Circle K members for any one event varies. Your assistance with assigning some students and/or adults to help with serving and bussing the tables would be most helpful.

6. If your organization is a 501c3 organization and our food service will be in conjunction with free giveaway to the community, please contact us lower or no fee event.
